The Colouring Room
Oh. Hello there.
You’ve found the Colouring Room.
Excellent.
Step inside, choose a comfortable spot, and try not to trip over Biscuit, who has positioned himself in the doorway for reasons known only to Biscuit.
Here, you’ll find nine mandalas to download, print, colour, decorate, improve, and possibly make much more purple than originally expected.
There is no perfect way to colour a mandala. Which is rather good news, actually.
So choose one carefully, sharpen your pencils, and create something special.
The Sunny Circle
A bright, friendly mandala for anyone who would like to begin with something cheerful. This one has big shapes, clear spaces, and a warm sunny centre. It is a good place to start if you are new to mandalas, or if you simply enjoy colouring things that look like they might improve the weather.
Best for
Beginners, younger colourers, warm-up colouring, and calm afternoon work.
Palette idea
Yellow, orange, gold, light blue, and one surprise colour.
The Blossom Wheel
A soft, floral mandala with rounded petals, gentle shapes, and a calm, friendly feeling. This one is still simple, but it gives you a little more room to play with flower colours, leafy greens, and quiet little details.
Best for
Beginners, flower lovers, gentle colouring, and anyone who enjoys calm, pretty shapes.
Palette idea
Pink, yellow, light green, pale blue, and one bright little surprise.
The Explorer Shield
A bold, adventurous mandala with strong shapes, clear sections, and a shield-like centre. This one is still beginner-friendly, but it has a braver, more quest-ready feeling. Possibly useful if you are about to colour bravely into unknown territory.
Best for
Beginners, adventure lovers, bold colouring, and anyone who likes strong shapes and clear spaces.
Palette idea
Deep blue, orange, gold, green, and one bright red or turquoise accent.
The Garden Compass
A fresh, balanced mandala where garden shapes meet compass shapes. This one has leaves, points, petals, and a little more detail than the first three, so it is a good next step if you are ready for slightly more careful colouring.
Best for
Colourers who are ready for a little more detail, nature themes, calm focus, and careful colour choices.
Palette idea
Fresh green, yellow, soft orange, pale blue, and one pink or turquoise accent.
The Moon Garden
A peaceful mandala with soft night-garden shapes, gentle curves, and a quiet moonlit feeling. This one is a little more detailed, but still calm and friendly. Excellent for colouring slowly, preferably while Biscuit is not standing on the page.
Best for
Calm colouring, moon and star themes, quiet focus, and colourers who enjoy softer magical designs.
Palette idea
Soft blue, pale yellow, lavender, light green, and one warm golden accent.
The Dragon Compass
A bold adventure mandala with compass points, strong shapes, and a hint of dragon-scale energy. This one has a little more detail than the beginner mandalas, but it still keeps clear spaces for brave and sensible colouring decisions.
Best for
Adventure themes, dragon fans, confident colourers, and anyone who enjoys bold shapes with a quest-like feeling.
Palette idea
Deep blue, bright green, orange, gold, turquoise, and one small red accent.
The Star Window
A bright geometric mandala inspired by stars and stained-glass windows. The repeating sections create a beautiful balance between simple shapes and intricate detail, making this a satisfying step up for colourers who enjoy taking their time.
Best for
Careful colouring, geometric patterns, star lovers, and anyone ready for a more detailed mandala.
Palette idea
Gold, orange, deep blue, light blue, purple, and a few bright turquoise accents.
The Crystal Bloom
A delicate mandala with flower shapes, crystal points, and bright little details. This one is more intricate, but still clear and friendly, like a flower that has become slightly carried away and turned into a jewel.
Best for
Detailed colouring, floral designs, crystal themes, and colourers who enjoy careful, decorative work.
Palette idea
Soft pink, purple, turquoise, pale blue, warm yellow, and a few light green accents.
The Thunder Star
A bold, energetic mandala with sharp rays, lightning shapes, and strong repeating sections. This is the most dramatic design in the set, ideal for colourers who are ready for a proper finale. Possibly best approached with confidence, snacks, and a sharpened pencil.
Best for
Confident colourers, bold colour choices, energetic designs, and anyone who enjoys a dramatic final challenge.
Palette idea
Bright yellow, golden orange, deep blue, turquoise, strong red, and a few purple accents.
